EXAMPLE CONVERSATION

You

Prepare Alex’s onboarding using the Sales profile.

North Maple Systems assistant

I’ll confirm Alex’s details and start date, then prepare the Sales onboarding plan for review.

Onboarding planDraft

Alex · Sales profile

  • Account and license tasks
  • Approved Sales access
  • Manager and IT approval
Review example plan

Confirm employee identity and start date. An authorized owner would review the exact tasks before any future execution. This preview creates no accounts or access grants.

DESIGNED AROUND EVERYDAY REQUESTS

Less chasing.
Clearer ownership.

01

Welcome someone new.

Prepare onboarding from an approved role profile, identify missing details and send the exact plan for approval.

First pilot: planning and approval.
02

Handle a departure.

Plan access removal and data handover around your company’s retention rules and designated owners.

Future workflow; not implemented.
03

Request the right access.

Identify the SharePoint resource, recipient and permission level, then route the request to the responsible owner.

Future workflow; subject to feasibility.
04

Understand access and activity.

Review available permissions and recorded usage, with the source, date range and visibility limits explained.

Planned reports; permissions and activity are separate.

HOW THE PROPOSED PRODUCT WOULD WORK

Simple to request.
Controlled at every step.

  1. RequestSign in and describe what you need.
  2. ReviewCheck the exact person, tasks and resources.
  3. ApproveThe authorized owner approves the plan.
  4. VerifyLater execution would report verified results and exceptions.

Copilot Studio, approval workflows and Microsoft 365 APIs are the proposed foundation. The chat interprets a request; policy and authorized people decide what may happen.

START WITH ONE USEFUL PILOT

Your onboarding.
Your rules.

Choose one employee profile, one IT owner and an approval route. We’ll scope a synthetic planning pilot before considering live execution.

Discuss your requirements ↗

What we would agree first

  • The onboarding tasks and what stays manual.
  • Who can request and approve each plan.
  • Your Microsoft licenses and integration requirements.
  • How to measure correct plans, review effort and exceptions.

Scope, price and delivery dates follow discovery. No agent is implemented, and no Microsoft partnership, savings or production readiness is claimed.

BEFORE WE CONNECT ANYTHING

A few practical answers.

Does it replace our IT administrator?

No. Your administrators own policies, approvals, exceptions and recovery. The intended product makes agreed workflows easier to request and follow.

Is it already available?

No. This is a proposed product with a defined first pilot. There is no live agent or tenant connection. The first stage prepares and approves onboarding plans only.

Is Microsoft 365 Copilot enough?

Not by itself. Custom workflows, authentication, licenses and API permissions need to be reviewed for your environment. Copilot Studio is a candidate foundation.

Can it show who used a SharePoint folder?

That is a planned reporting use case. Recorded activity depends on available audit data, retention and permissions. Missing activity is not proof that someone never accessed a file.

to connect the steps.

Illustrative workflow only. No platform connection, validated prediction, account creation or system change occurs. Reduced-motion settings show the complete static workflow.

IMPLEMENTATION AT A GLANCE / PROPOSED ARCHITECTURE

One conversation.
Connected services.

Proposed Microsoft 365 implementation: the conversational layer translates a request into structured inputs. Controlled workflows interact with the services and return a clear result.

01 / PEOPLEYour team

Ask a question or request a task in everyday language.

02 / CONVERSATIONCopilot Studio chat

Understands the request and explains the proposed plan.

03 / CONTROLWorkflow & approvals

Checks identity, policy and the exact task. Approved flows call the required APIs.

Ask

“What access does this employee have?”

Request

“Prepare onboarding using the Sales profile.”

Receive

A sourced answer, a plan awaiting approval or a verified task receipt.

Copilot Studio → authenticated workflow → Microsoft Graph and service-specific APIs, as required. User sign-in, tool credentials and execution permissions are separate checks. No live connection exists today.
